    Hi
I have acymailing on two sites and they have both been having 502 errors recently.
The hosting company has suggested that this plug-in may be the one that is causing this.

You will notice that for 20 000 visits, your site “potatohouse.co.uk” generated nearly 90 000 CPU seconds (or average 4-5 seconds per visit). The situation with “lovepotatoes.co.uk” is even worse. For 8 000 visits, it generated 70 000 CPU seconds (or 8-10 seconds per visit).
As per the seconds entry, I am afraid, you would have to discuss the issue with your dev (or acymail) to reduce the number of executions (which are about 8 000 for the day).

We have had acymailing for a few years on one site with no problems and just added it to our other site in the last few months. We can’t have our commercial site going down so need to get to the bottom of this problem

Do you know if this plugin has changed? Does it use more memory? Can you suggest anything?

    Thank you
    Amy

    Hello,

AcyMailing changes with each release, and generally uses less and less resources as we’re in a phase where we focus in optimising page load times and resources used.

A good test would be to temporary disable the AcyMailing plugin and see if there is a significant increase in page load speed.

If the site is slow because of AcyMailing, one thing that might impact performances is the multi-cron system triggered by visitors.
To disable it, you need to keep 1 batch of X emails every 15 minutes in the “Queue process” tab of the AcyMailing configuration page.

If you go under 15 minutes or if you send more than one batch, the site visits will be used to trigger the send process.

    Have a nice day

    Hi
Thanks for quick response. I hadn’t realised about the timings of the sending, I will try that. That would be good if it was clearer on the page.
Great product and I enjoy using it, so I hope that this helps.
    thank you
    Amy
