You cannot use html in Description/biography. It used to be possible to do this.

  • I have observed something very similar.
The existing descriptions are still output in the formatted HTML. However, as soon as you click in such a field, even without editing it and then saving it, the HTML (2 links mailto: and tel:) will disappear on these.

Those not edited in the same data record remain unchanged.

This appears to be a deliberate action to degrade the capabilities of the free version of the plugin.

    Hi both,

Thank you for your rating and feedback.

This is obviously not a deliberate action to degrade anything. We have receive vulnerability issue reports and to avoid the closing of the plugin’s page on www.ads-software.com we have had to disable this feature, until we find a workaround.

This does not only not benefit us but also costs us a lot, and impacts our users directly as you can see. We want to find a workaround as soon as possible.

    Hi jm2023jm and WP Darko

Thank you for your quick feedback. I was wondering what the reason could be and with the above answer the behavior is understandable.

Does it make sense to follow this up in a support thread? Or do we remain here in the rating?

    Greetings
