Very limited styling options for the live editor

I have been using VC for 3 years now, and I have to come up front to give my opinion after a lot of difficulties with this plugin.

Personally, I don’t think this is a good plugin at all. Why?

-Updates break your site if you update you will need to replace manually the old content as their shortcodes don’t work anymore. This a horrendous marketing practice but its aimed at forcing people with no knowledge to hire a visual composer expert to do it for them.

-When you ad a simple element like a title, you need to create a class to be able to edit its color, size, and many basic CSS on the backend. This a very bad practice since it forces noncoders to become CSS knowledgeable. Very bad practice.

-It slows down your site. The difference in speed is quite noticeable.

To sum it up, it offers a lot of fancy looking features, but you will be dependant on it forever on your site, which is what they want obviously.

The updates don’t offer any major and interesting features other than a change in editing options and in my opinion it gets worse.

I guess the project manager changed and therefore they changed their optic.
