• All this seems to do is create a Shortcode aimed at making inserting the iframe code they give you marginally easier, it’s barely even worth bothering to install. There are no options to add a buy link to say an individual event you may have created posts for.

From what I can tell there are no attributes you can pass to the Shortcode at all, complete one trick pony that I could write in about 30 minutes from scratch.

This token effort seems to be more about marketing and SEO so you get a result searching for WordPress and TicketSource.

    Hi Antony

We provide the WordPress plugin for users who don’t want to edit their site html to inject our Ticket Shop directly.

The default code provided in the publicise events page of your TicketSource account will show the default listings view but we do support passing extra attributes to configure things like changing the target behaviour of links and filtering to specific events, you can find more information on the snippets we host on our GitHub “Gists” repository here; https://github.com/ticketsource/gists/tree/main/wordpress

Thank you for choosing to use TicketSource and please let us know if you have any further queries, the best place to get hold of us is at [email protected] or by visiting our help page.

I mean those attributes are useful however it contradicts your argument that the plugin exists to simplify when you have to still add a shortcode for it to work – which in itself can be tricky from your claimed target audience to understand.

Furthermore for it to do anything else you have to rely on undocumented gists from Github…..

This only confirms my notion that this is a token gesture plugin.
