Very long time to display stats, and error in log

    Hello,

    When trying to get stats for a period longer than one day, it is very long time to receive them, and we get only the global data. List of articles don’t show up after even 3 minutes.

    In apache logs :The timeout specified has expired: [client [IP]:48926] AH01075: Error dispatching request to : (polling), referer: https://xxxxx.xom/wp-admin/admin.php?page=independent-analytics

    Are there parameters we should change in mysql (max time, etc) that would solve the problem?

    Dedicated server, almalinux8 64Gb RAM Apach php-fpm

    Site: about 200.000 pages / day

    Are you running the latest version (2.1.4) on this site? If not, could you try updating and let me know if this fixes the issue?

    Okay thanks for letting me know.

    While we were able to make performance improvements in v2.1, I think we have to concede that our plugin is going to struggle with the high volume of traffic that your site has for the time being. We will be making more optimizations in the future, but I think it will be a while before Independent Analytics is able to quickly load the 6M views your site will have each month. It’s very challenging to load this much data in the WP environment.

    Sorry for the disappointing news, and I hope you’ll keep tabs on our development, as I expect we will reach a point where IA can handle such volumes of traffic in the future.
