• This is looking like a great alternative to many other plugin cart solutions. Needs a few more improvements, and if these are done, we’ll definitely use it in preference to our current solution.

Thanks for writing this. What improvements are you wanting to see?

    1. On the Checkout form page, the option for First Name and Last Name fields rather than just Name – this then enables correct user registration on WP
    2. Shortcodes for building forms in Elementor
    3. Ability to edit form label fields e.g. Tax ID (in many parts of the world this would be VAT or TVA)
    4. In tax dropdown in forms, remove tax regions that are not set up to be collected – even better, remove dropdown altogether and have the “Tax ID” automatically match to the registered tax regions

I’m sure this will all get fixed in good time, I know you’re constantly improving it, and it’s going to make Woocommerce look even more clunky than it is. Keep up the great work.

    Hey thanks for following up.
    1. We automatically parse that for you, so when they enter their full name, we separate it into first and last name, which is an ecommerce best practice. Does this not work for you?
    2. All forms automatically have a shortcode to place it in any page builder. We will be adding an Elementor module for choosing an existing form you have built to make it that much easier.
    3. All form label fields and the placeholders are easily editable when you click on them. The only exception is the VAT lookup field. I’ll check why that is, if it is due to some compliance. I’ll see about having that added.
    4. I’ll check why we do it that way, it must be for a purpose, for example if the buyer needs their VAT number to be displayed on an invoice regardless if the merchant collects for their country. This commonly happens where a buyer requires an invoice with their VAT number on it. I’ll see what improvements can be made there.

Thanks for the feedback, it really helps.

Ahh, already got the answer on why you can’t change the label for the VAT field:
“this is because it will change depending on the tax id. For example VAT for EU/UK, GST for Canada and Australia, etc.”

So the label in this case dynamically changes.

With reference to my original numbering:
    1. Not everyone has just two words for their name e.g. “John Le Mesurier”, where “John” is First Name, and “Le Mesurier” is Last Name – or “Jean Paul Gautier”, where “Jean Paul” is First Name and “Gautier” is Last Name. How can you automatically parse that?

    4. Tax ID label – surely that only changes after you select relevant tax region on drop down list? Not a good UX, clunky.
