    Hi, me again.

Not a support topic, but a request.

You like doing these kinds of plugins.
We (the people) need more simple plugins.
And the communication with you is far better (fruitful) than with bloatware developers.
    So, I thought I’d ask…

I’ve tried every newsletter subscription plugin.
None use honeypot for spam protection.
Not even a native non-JQuery solution.
So, if there is a subscription form in the footer or pop up, you need to load JQuery on every page, because your only option is Google reCaptcha.

For example, I like using Sendinblue for email automation.
They let you send out 300 emails per day for free.
They have a simple form plugin, which has the described issues.
Also, their success and error notifications are also powered by JQuery.

If creating a replacement plugin is too much work, could you develop an extension for this plugin?

    Best regards,
    Jovan

    Hi Jovan,

That’s quite some work man. Besides buiding it I must find out how to hook into the mail plugin you mention, so the submission is being saved there. I don’t have time for a project like this.

It seems you’re able to code yourself, why not build your own plugin?

    Hi Guido,

OK. I assumed it was simpler.

I’m not a coder, just an advanced copy/paste-er.
