Very slow “generate” due to “Wordfence”

  • When “Wordfence” is running to generate static files can take 5-40 Minutes.

    Problem seems to be the cURL 300005ms timeouts (due to firewall blockings?)

    When I switch off Wordfence the same generate takes a few Seconds (on my test site with only a few posts). Just switching off the firewall inside Wordfence does not solve the issue.

    My PHP is 7.4.15 in case that matters.

    Any hints what Wordfence setting is causing the cURL blockage?
