• Hi,

My site is very slow, I have done tests and is well below average, sometimes it takes more than 30 (thirty seconds) to load and sometimes has error. And great sites on the Internet takes just 3 three seconds to load. I wanted mine to be so.

Being that I need to keep my 50 articles done in the Page model, bbPress forum and exclusive area for members with plugin UserPro are the main items that I use.

I use WordPress, hosting HostDime and plugin W3 Total Cache. So need to change any of these items or add something to make my site faster? and this plugin “Quick cache” will resolve ?

    Help me please.

    Regards,
    Icaro

    Hi Icaro,

Quick Cache is a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache. You cannot use both at the same time. You’ll need to disable W3 Total Cache if you want to install Quick Cache.

I recommend giving Quick Cache a try and seeing if it works well for you. After activating the plugin, you can visit your pages and View Source to see the HTML Notes at the bottom that indicate how fast the page has loaded.

    Thank you Raam Dev.

Please, where exactly do I find this option: ” indicate how fast the page has loaded” ?

Check the html source of your page with your browser, it is at the end.

What hosting plan you have ? Shared, VPS ?

30 seconds seems like you have a problem, not related to WordPress. Unless you have a big site and a lot of traffic.

Inside Dashboard → Quick Cache → Plugin Options → Enable/Disable you’ll see an option that lets you enable/hide the notes in the source code. When the notes are enabled, you can view a page on your site and then in your browser choose “View -> View Source” (the exact menu option will vary with the browser you’re using, but it should say something similar to “View Source”).
