VERY slow loading site – please help!

  • I’m looking for some help with my WordPress site https://www.allstarincentivemarketing.com The site is loading extremely slow and I’m in need of a quick solution for it. Our company is hosting the site on a Windows IIS server, which I’m not very familiar with working on. I have installed W3 Total Cache, but I’m still getting “Expiration Not Specified” on many images, JS and CSS files. The server response time is a huge issue that I’m also not finding a good solution for.

    Hoping someone can provide some specific suggestions as I’m under pressure for a solution by end of day today.

  • Try running your site through a performance analyzer. Google “site speed analysis” (no quotes) or something like that. You’ll get suggestions on what needs to be ‘fixed’ to improve site speed. There isn’t a holy grail – try more than one and follw the suggestions.

    RE the “Expiration not specified” check out WP plugins for a “Add Expires header” (no quotes). Find one that suits your need and see if it helps.

    Image sizes/optimization are often a culprit of slow loads too.

    This should get you started but your deadline is very tight. Good luck and hope this helps.
