VERY Underrated plugin.

  • I’m here to sincerely say THANK YOU.

    There are SO many performance plugins out there, but most will not understand how valuable this one can be, if you have a huge amount of posts/content, trust me, this one is a Big deal, this is NOT about caching or edge optimization, it’s about DB query optimization.

    After spending many many hours tuning my MySQL instance, the one thing that was left (that MySQLTuner was asking me to) was to improve on indexes.
    And I wasn’t sure how to go about this for WordPress, then I’ve found this.

    Thank you Ollie and Carl for this contribution, my carefully tuned InnoDB settings made this plugin give me almost a full 2x improvement along the queries the system does. It’s mind blowing.

    For what it’s worth, when this plugin is combined with an object caching plugin (exploiting Redis or memcache/d) you get the best results. The best way to speed up the DBMS is to not use it.
