very unreliable functionality

Bummed to hear you say this. I really would love to help without you needing to use any “workarounds”? We fully support and work hard to improve the free theme. We are on the support forms every day to help.

What options where not working?

What options have disappeared?

In trying to guess I thought maybe you are talking about the appearance > theme options. Which are there as long as you have the virtue/pinnacle toolkit plugin installed. I can see how if you didn’t install the plugin on activation then you could think options are missing.

We certainly hate that you have to install a plugin to have a theme options page but this was a decision made by www.ads-software.com. Themes are not allowed to use theme options pages so it was added to our plugin to give you and all other free users access to tons of great theme options.

Several functions are not there. Can I upload a screenshot?
Just the top row of buttons are now visible since I upgraded Virtue theme.
i.e. back button is missing, make font different colors is missing, making font different sizes is missing, and many more…

What top row of buttons are you referring too? The back button? In your browser?

In your appearance > Theme options > typography settings. You don’t see the options? Have you tried deactivating plugins? There are a lot of people using the theme and they can see the options.

Have you tried reinstalling the theme?

I just sent some screenshots to clarify.
The screen options do NOT show up when I’m editing a page.
The top row of buttons I am referring to are at the top of each web page when I try to edit the web page. Many are no longer there, since I did the recent upload of a newer version of Virtue.
I am very reluctant to reinstall as it may create new problems with my website online.
Also, a separate issue, double spacing does NOT work.
As I am semi-retired, I do not want to spend a great deal of time guessing what the problem is, and possibly create new problems in the process.
