WordFence does it’s job!
Although there’s a few problems with WP3.6.1, it seems these are limited mostly to the scanning function, and don’t usually stop the plugin protecting the site.

Really appreciate the e-mail alerts for logins and registrations.

Only thing missing I’d like to see – function to block partial hostname e.g: .kimsufi.com (maybe in the paid-for version!). That would mean one less plugin.
