• I’m trying to disable the VI Ads; however, no matter what I do, they still appear on the page. Genesis Theme.

I have tried all of the following:
-logged out at the VI Ads tab
    -Cleared cache
    -Cleared cookies
    -Tried alternate devices
    -Used incognito browser
    -Disabled the plugin
-Deleted the ads.txt file from public_html
-The code is not manually inputted on the page’s text
-I have no other advertisement/adsence plugins on my site

I am revitalizing an old project, so is it possible I manually inputted the code somewhere on the page? Or could an ad code be buried in a hook, simple edit, or something like that? Or could it be in Google API somewhere?

    I’m really stumped.

    Much Love!

  • Hi Phil,

it could be a shortcode you’ve added to one of your pages. Anyways, logging out of vi should disable the vi ad completely if it has been added to your website by wp quads.

Please disable wp quads completely for testing purposes. If vi still appears you probably added its code manually to one of your theme files or used another plugin to do so.

    Hello,

I am writing to you because I would like to ask you to help me find the ad code on my site, which disappeared after theme update.

I pasted the code manually in header.php, but now after theme update, this code can’t be found ( yllix ads). I’d like to remove that ad because it causes some issues with other ads.

Please let me know if you can help in this matter. Looking forward to receiving your reply. Thank you.

    With regards,
    Alen
