vi story advertising; Google AdSense ads

    I have vi advertising, but something is wrong with it on my desktop website. I have had problems with my BlueHost server in the last month and had to backup twice. BlueHost messed up one of the backups, but fixed their error. I offer this information as a possible cause for my vi problem. Of course, I am guessing. Here are the problems:

    1. A few days ago, Vi story ads were showing on my desktop and mobile websites. A couple of days ago, I clicked on a vi story ad in my mobile site, clicked sound, but the video played without sound. Today it played sound nicely on my mobile site.
    2. A day or so ago, I clicked on a vi ad on my desktop site; it tried to load and load and load..and never did. It ended up with a black screen then tried to load again…
    But now I don’t have any Vi story ads on my desktop site. None.
    3. In settings, vi is checked in the list of ads. However, I don’t have an ID,type/size or status.
    4. And I have this notification:
    “There was an error processing your request, our team was notified.

    Please try again later.”

    5. I also cannot find where to enter key words to determine which videos appear in vi ads.

    6. Today, I discovered I have no Google AdSense ads on my desktop website. But I have Google ADSense ads on my mobile website. I checked my widget settings; I have Google AdSense code in a text box for both my desktop site and my mobile site.

    7. So I have no ads whatsoever on my desktop website.

    Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation.
    We see vi and AdSense ads on the website now. For example, on this page: https://storiesfromacottage.com/share-your-story/
    If you still have problems and do not see the ads, please, check if an Ad-blocker is disabled on your computer.

    I see the AdSense ads and vi on my desktop website. Did you do something to fix the problem, or did they just reappear? If you didn’t do something to fix the problem, why did they disappear and then come back?

    1. Why do I still get this message in the AdSense settings:

    vi stories – video content and video advertising
    There was an error processing your request, our team was notified.

    Please try again later.

    2. Also, I don’t have an ID, type/size information or status information.

    Thank you for your help. I cleared the cache, logged out and back in and now have a publisher’s dashboard.

    I also can edit my vi story.

    Am I supposed to have information under Id, Type/Size and Status? I don’t have any information beneath those categories.

    Hi Sharen,
    Id, Type/Size and Status are for Google AdSense ad blocks (to distinguish them, if you have many).
    Kindly please note that you can use only one vi ad unit per page.
