Video background being cropped

  • Hi! I bought a theme with this script on it and I loved it!

    I am having a little problem with the background video. I am using it on a fullscreen mode, and somehow the video is cropped. It looks like there is a zoom on my video, it is being cropped in width and height. I am using both of them on 100% sizes.

    As I have words on my video these words are being cropped and impossible to read.

    Do you know how can I fix that? I dont mind if I loose the fullscreen mode. I just want the Widith to fits perfectly on the screen, from left to right sides. I dont mind if the Height is not full.

    Hi,
    The plug-in has an option (optimizeDisplay) that controls how the video is displayed; this option is by default set to true that means the video display is optimized to never display black bars. If you set this option to false the video will always be displayed without any crop.

    So you can change the option when your mb.YTPlayer is initialized or directly in the javascript file.

    I am having one more problem with the audio. I tried to put it on a volume “10”, but it still verry loud. I changed this value for many times, with 0, 10, 30 and 50 but it does not make any difference.

    As I am using only one video on my site, can I change it direct on the CSS or PHP files? Where can I find it?

    In which way are you setting the volume level?
    It should work fine…

    Anyway the same way you changed the optimizeDisplay property you can change the volume level:
    The property you have to change is vol and it accept a value from 0 to 100.
