Column takes priority over row. I would prefer it the other way around. So if you have 7 videos and column count is 3, the 1st row would list video 1-2-3, 2nd row video 4-5-6 and 3rd row video 7. Maybe it could be optional per gallery type, which behavior you go for.

You may have answered this in another thread, but I cannot find anywhere in neither Video Manager nor General Options, where this can be set.

I use wordpress theme “Spacious” and the free version of your plugin.

PS: Thanks for an otherwise very fine plugin !

    Hello Dear stigekalder.

Thank you for contacting with us and for telling us about your request. In this type of gallery the order is by columns, not by rows. That is why you don’t have your prefered order. But you can make it from admin menu, there we have drag and drop function for making prefered order for videos. For example, if you will change the video 2 and video 4 order, you will have your prefered order.

    Thank You.

I understand what you mean, and that’s pretty smart.
However, when fewer columns are displayed than indicated by the columns count, then the order will appear totally random.
This can happen, if column count is for example 3, and you move the iPad from landscape to portrait, or you use a smartphone.
So I think I stick to default behavior, top/down before left/right.
Of course I respect this is a design decision, although I would prefer the other way around.

    Dear stigekalder.

We can’t change the order for that type. It will get from top to bottom. It’s that type feature.

    Thank You.
