Video doen't play in any browser

  • I just updated to WP4.0 and like the changes. I tried to embed a video on my website using the ADD MEDIA button. Within WordPress admin it works great!

    But when I go to my website in Firefox, IE9, and Safri it does not play. The file is a .flv and I tried converting it to .mp4 (does not even play in admin) and .mov which just ave me a line.

    Any suggestions? I was hoping that since the embed feature now works I could use just one video across all platforms.
