Video embeds disappear

    Hello,

    I thought I was on autopilot. Then today, after creating an author things appear to have gone south.

    She is trying to embed a video from the server. I told her to use the site for flash media playback to get the proper code. However everytime she tries to save the post it deletes the embed code. Her images are being saved but she can’t get the video embed code to stay put.

    Any thoughts?

    I haven’t tried a new post under my admin account so I am not sure if this is a global or user issue.

    This seems to be global….I just tried to post a video and nothing. Appears to be a video specific issue.

    Ok seems that all of a sudden I can post video again. However after doing some reading, Am I to understand that AUTHORS cannot post video? If this is the case, it is rather lame. Why have authors? video is content. Authors post content. Anyway around this? I do NOT want to have to add content for all my authors. And I shouldn’t have to give them all admin access.
