Video Embeds not working properly after updating to 5.3.2

After updating to 5.3.2, my embedded video (mp4 file uploaded to WordPress, embedding the permalink) now shows a link on the post, instead of showing the video itself . . . the link plays the video (replacing the post contents) if clicked.

I want it do be the same as it was before the update, actually showing the video itself on the post, with play button etc.
