Video file returns 404?

  • I have a video file on wp-content/uploads/videos and when i try to see it on my browser it returns the 404 page.

    I already try to change permissions to 777 (folder and file) but still the same. Any ideias to solve this?

    No, via FTP. Is that a problem?

    Yes. Unless you upload the file via WordPress, it won’t be entered into the database as an attachment. If you want to upload it via FTP, you need to upload it to a folder outside of the main WP folder so that the url won’t be rewr9tten to a 404.
