• Elementor’s Media Carousel widget is a nightmare if you use it for Videos. It’s got some good configuration options and multiple skins and effects but all of that fancy work, time, and effort goes down the drain when you use it for Videos.

    1. When you add the Media Carousel Widget with the cube effect and video link inside each slide, it doesn’t work on the Odd numbered slides such as 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and similar.
    2. Another major issue is that when you browse Videos in Lightbox, you can hear the audio of the previous video while the next video is playing with it’s own audio. Again a bug.
    3. This one is not a bug but a very basic option that is missing. The widget only supports YouTube and Vimeo URLs and no other platform or self-hosted or CDN videos. That’s a huge limitation.

After 5+ years of using Elementor Pro, this is quite a disappointment for a page builder claiming to be the No. 1

All of this was reported to Elementor Support. After taking 3-4 days for each instance Elementor Support has confirmed that these are bugs. And then followed a standard response:

It seems like this is a bug. I have reported this to our dev team; hopefully, they will fix it soon.

We can’t provide a temporary workaround or a definite ETA of when it will be fixed yet. You can follow up for updates on our Changelog of Elementor to see when this issue gets resolved. Thanks for your patience. ?

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
