I’ve added a video into a wordpress post, but wpsso-preview (open graph example) doesn’t show the video! Is the video posted to facebook to be able to be played inside the facebook post or do I need Pro version for this?

That’s correct – the Free version does not include the 3rd party plugin & service integration modules of the Pro version (see the plugin description for the complete list), which includes the video markup modules for YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and SlideShare.

Okay, but I uploaded the video directly to the website and added the file into post, not an external link from YouTube or so…

Since Facebook and Twitter require different media (one is embedded flash, the other is an mp4 stream), along with the bandwidth requirement to host shared video, so far every customer I know has been using YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, etc. to do their hosting. If you have the correct media, and the bandwidth to provide it, we can always see what’s possible. Right now, the custom Media tab in the Social Settings metabox should allow you to enter a custom URL for an embedded video source for Facebook (Pro version required). I’d have to see about adding an option for the Twitter Player Card MP4 video.
