    Hi guys,
    First of all, I can’t thank you enough for this wonderful plugin.
    We are currently working on adding videos to our recipe cards and wonder if there are good practices so these videos are showcased by Google.
    Are there any recommendations about the size, format or anything else that can increase the chances of them being featured in google snippets?
    we take all advice and tips.

    Are you uploading the videos to your own site or embedding them from somewhere (like Vimeo or Youtube)?

    Which one is best for google and snippets? I haven’t started using them yet so I am quite flexible.

    A provider like Vimeo or YouTube provides the metadata you need for you, so there is less to worry about.

    Thanks Brecht! So embedding a Vimeo or youtube video in WPRM will do the job. No need to upload the video directly.
    please correct me if I am wrong.

    Embedding from Vimeo or Youtube is the easiest solution. Uploading the video directly works as well but you need to make sure to manually set a description and poster image.

    Would this work with AdThrive or Mediavine ads?

    The AdThrive embed code looks something like this:
