Video in WP 3.6

    I have up graded -a all went smoothly

    I have used the Media Uploader to upload video and told it to Embed

    The player is there but it is blank and will not play

    Help…

    Try temporarily switching top the Twenty Twelve theme and deactivating all of your plugins and see if the video displays after that. If it does then it could be a plugin or your theme that’s interfering with the video displaying correctly.

    Also if you can provide a link to illustrate the problem that may help others get to the bottom of it.

    Yup,

    Sure Enough it was a plugin – the Secure HTML video plugin – should’ve known!!

    The new facility would make life easier but if the plugin and the new feature are mutually exclusive I’m between a rock and a hard place as there is a good deal of legacy video on my current client sites. Suspect its because the plugin points embeds at a specific folder
