• I’m using a plugin to synchronise my youtube channel with my wordpress site. When a new video is uploaded the plugin creates a custom post for the video, called ‘video’. The post content consists of the video, the description and a custom taxonomy I’ve created. I made a custom loop to display the content as an archive and that works fine.

I’d like to use the loop in a page – but it doesn’t work properly: the posts are displayed, but minus the video. All the other content is as expected but no video.

I’ve tried inserting the video archive as a shortcode, I’ve tried saving the video archive as section template but the result is the same, the content is displayed minus the video.

I can link to the video archive, with everything working fine. And to the page with the archive pasted in without videos.

Any thoughts about why the video is not displayed?

Does the page still has the video?

Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry about that, I’ve updated the pages.

I’m using a plugin to import a youtube channel as a custom post, Video. I created a custom loop that contained post content and post terms. I then created an archive with the posts widget so I could restrict the content to custom post Video and use the custom loop. The archive is great, it shows the video thumbnail and post term:
    https://climateguru.co.uk/video

Then, from the archive, I saved the section containing the posts widget as a section template. I added the template to a page
    https://climateguru.co.uk/test-page

The video is missing. Can you help?
