Well, I only had to click the play button once, but in any case, this browser console error might have something to do with your issue:

Failed to execute ‘postMessage’ on ‘DOMWindow’: The target origin provided (‘https://www.youtube.com’) does not match the recipient window’s origin (‘https://whitemencantfunk.co.uk’).

Or that the urls must all start with https://

I’ve used better search replace to replace at http with https on the site but still the same problem. Tried it in several browsers and on my phone too – I have to press play on the image then on the YouTube video.

Better Search and Replace may not catch the css files from Elementor. Use this guide instead: https://docs.elementor.com/article/218-i-changed-the-url-of-my-website-and-elementor-does-not-work-anymore

I really don’t know if that’s the issue or not, and if not, I don’t have any other advice. This is some technical issue on your end that I probably can’t solve.

This didn’t work on my home laptop either and I’m using my work laptop now. So, when you click the play icon on the image the video plays? It doesn’t show you the youtube video then you have to click play on that?

I tried the elementor link you sent me – told me there were no replacements to make. I’ve regenerated css anyway, cleared cache but still have to click play on the image, then click play on the youtube video.

Used Chrome. What browser are you using?

Chrome too! ?? That’s what I want to happen but it isn’t on my phone, work laptop or home laptop!

Have you tried in an incognito browser? Maybe you are running a Chrome extension that is interfering, and incognito won’t be running any extensions.

Do you have a fallback image on it? Or an overlay? These are designed to do exactly that.

I’ve tried incognito (on my phone) same thing.

I do have an overlay but thought that when you press play on that it would pay the video?
