Video side bar plugin issue

  • Hi everybody, I am very new to all this, but I am making every effort to sort issues out before I post a question. I was on this one all day yesterday.

    Can anybody tell me why my video will not display in the side bar.

    I have installed the plug in and filled out the appropriate boxes.

    I have read the cashe posts, but I don’t think i have any of those plugins.

    All seems well on the site, apart from the actual film not coming up.
    The only thing I can think of is that I may be getting confused with a bit of ambiguous language. It asks for the you tube ID. I am assuming this is the imbed code? I have tried every other permutation of codes that I can see on my you tube account, even ‘use old code’. I am truly stuck. Is there a plug in that will just work in a side bar without having to write code? I can’t write code.
