  • Hi there Kim,

Thanks for posting here! You can actually change the oEmbed video size by setting the width like so in your wp-config.php file:

    define('BPFB_OEMBED_WIDTH', 250, true);

You can specify any value you want in place of the 250.

That’s actually noted (with some other helpful bits as well) in our Usage page for the plugin.

Could you let me know how that works for you?

    Thanks,
    David

Just wanted to really quickly too, the plugin now has a settings area at Settings > Activity Plus.

You can specify the oEmbed width there instead. It’s much easier. ??

Tried both these things and neither work. I tried all the initial troubleshooting in this way. Also tried to disable all plugins to check for conflicts and nothing works.

    Hi @twyh,

Hmm, that’s strange. I can’t seem to replicate but I’d love to find out what’s occurring there. Could you provide a url for reference?

Just curious if maybe your theme’s overriding that too. Could you try switching to Twenty Fourteen quickly to see how it works there?

Also, could you try adding any YouTube video to see how it works with that?

Looking forward to getting this sorted with ya! ??

    Thanks,
    David

I will need to send you login information, is there somewhere I can private message you or you can tell me where to send login credentials? Once you login go to https://thinkwithyourheart.com/members/lu/activity/29643/

The oembed vid size is set to 100px. Nothing I do changes the video size.

    thanks

Hi everybody- figured out this is a setting my theme has installed (BuddyBoss Theme) to keep videos responsive. Thanks for the assistance in the meantime.
