Hey, the plugin is really great, but i got a problem –

I’m using the Slide Info version (with the right text column) and when i add video to a slide, it doesn’t play. There is a play button on the slide image, but when i hit it, it shows 404 page of my own site.

In the Video and Link tab, i put the youtube url and the embed url of the video, but it doesn’t find it, though the video plays alright on youtube.

    How can i fix it?

UPD: Just created a new slider and tried to put a video to it – just the same, 404 of my own site.

    UPD2

I put the long youtube link to the embed field, now when i hit play, it only shows black field, the video doesn’t play still.

So my only question is – how do i put a video slide?

    Hi @crowd!

To put a youtube video on our slider, you need to use the Youtube layer:
    https://doc.smartslider3.com/article/198-youtube-layer
and you can add a video there by writing the youtube video’s whole url, for example:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76WZG9ni9P4
    into the “Youtube url” option.

If you see the video tab option, you have the pro version, and that option is only for locally hosted videos, so you could put like mp4 videos there, like:
    [video src="https://www.w3schools.com/html/mov_bbb.mp4" /]

And you probably used the “link” option too, which is to have a link on the whole slide, and this is redirecting you to a page of your website, which doesn’t exists.

I would suggest checking out this video, it can help you see what option is where, so it could help you manage our backend better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76WZG9ni9P4
