    Just to further clarify, this is totally expected. cdn.ampproject.org is part of the AMP cache. It caches a copy your content for better performance. That copy should never be indexed. Only your actual web site should be.

    If you have issues with thumbnails, then that’s probably because of something else. In the Google Search Console help center you should be able to find out more.
