Video won’t autoplay

We’d like the video (hosted on Vimeo) to autoplay when the slider loads. Right now, the video “play” icon shows, but there is no autoplay. The “Autoplay video” setting is set to “On”.
The video embed source is set to //player.vimeo.com/video/725698923, but we’ve also tried https://player.vimeo.com/video/725698923.
We’re using the Master Slider WordPress Free version 3.8.1.
