Videopress… Could Be Better for Self-Hosted Sites

  • Okay, I think Videopress is a good idea. I haven’t personally used it, and I understand it is fairly new… however, I am not willing to make such an investment… not at all. When I can just as easily upload my videos to my site then embed them for free (minus hosting charge… duh), VideoPress just seems over-priced for Self-Hosted blogs like mine.

    Now, I think that WordPress should make a VideoPress plugin for Self-Hosted Blogs that did the same thing, but was free. They have plenty of people on WordPress.com that can’t afford hosting of their own blog, so they will continue to make money.

    Just a suggestion that would make me more inclined to use it.
