    Hello,

When I run initial import I set up the channel ID and it works fine, the videos from the channel are imported as expected.

But then, probably when cron job is executed I see videos from other random channels. It seems like the channel ID is not stored and not used. Also if I go to the /wp-admin/tools.php?page=youtube-importer-secondline page I don’t see the channel ID I used. The input uses some random ID as a placeholder

Is there a way to fix that?
    Thanks you

    Hey!

    Thanks for using our plugin.
This sounds quite odd. Are you positive you’ve used a valid channel ID? Did you save it as a scheduled import as well?

The schedule import should only import from the same channel so something must be off in your configuration.

Same thing happened to me, it imported over 1k videos from I don’t know where it came from. This plugin don’t work anymore. I use this in the past but now I had to disable it

    Hey @its7376,

Thanks for using our plugin. Could you please confirm whether you’ve used a Channel ID or a playlist?

We’d be more than happy to look into it but the plugin should definitely work as expected and is still supported and maintained.

Hello, yes, as mentioned, I am using Channel ID and what happened was it published thousands of posts from different channels

Could you please share the Channel ID you’re using? You can send it over here or via email – we’ll test it out.

I was just about to purchase and install this plugin. I hope you get this resolved because i really need a plugin like this.

@mrmattc – You can always try the free version of the plugin first. There are lots of people using this plugin and it’s being actively maintained – this issue hasn’t been reported elsewhere and we cannot reproduce it at the moment so it shouldn’t be a major concern.

I also am seeing the same thing, after the import it then starts to pull in posts from another channel.

@mlotorocks, that definitely shouldn’t happen. Are you importing a channel ID or a playlist?

Could you please delete the scheduled import you have set up, then disable the plugin and re-activate it back in? Then lastly re-import your scheduled channel and let me know if it works as expected.
