Videos not playing for iOS devices

I’m new to WP and learning how to determine if there are plugin conflicts is something to learn rather than the science of trial and error… I speculate this is the issue.

I updated to the latest version of Maxgalleria and the videos hang on all platforms thus I continue to use the older version. Again this is likely due to a plugin conflict and not necessarily with Maxgalleria (or could it be?).

None the less, currently the videos hang on iOS platform.

I’ve just tested this and I’m not seeing this issue repeated on sites using the latest version of Maxgalleria when viewed with an iPad. The newer version of Maxgalleria use the Magnific popup. I suggest you try it with the current version of Maxgalleria, but you should change your video links from the embeds links like this one:

https://youtube.com/watch?v=0BsTMQjOwAo%3Ffeature%3Doembed%26fs%3D1%26enablejsapi%3D1%26wmode%3Dtransparent

to ones that point to the youtube video page:

which is what Magnific can handle. SInce there is not a way to edit video links directly in Maxgalleria you will have to delete them and add them again in the gallery.
