Videos not preloading…?

  • Perhaps I’m misunderstanding what pre-loading is but my understanding is that as soon as the page with the videos loads, the videos start to download / buffer ready for smooth playback.

    However, this is not happening on my webpage, I have 4 videos on my page all set to preload but they don’t. I would expect the blue buffer line in the progress bar to increase even if the video isn’t playing but none of them do this.

    This is the code I am using

    Is this correct?
