Videos open on new page as opposed to in lightbox

  • I have the box checked to play videos in a lightbox, but instead, the videos open in a new page full-screen, and I have to click “Back” to get back to the video grid. When I preview the grid in Settings, they play in a lightbox. I’m guessing this is some kind of incompatibility with my theme or another plugin I am using. Any ideas?

    When “play video in lightbox” is not checked, the videos are loaded in a new page on YouTube.com and play from there, which I assume is what is supposed to happen.

  • I’m having the exact same issue. I’ve deactivated all plugins (one at a time) – didn’t change anything.
