I’ve got USP set up and running. User submitted posts need to be published by an admin and come in as pending. All good.

But we can’t see the actual submitted photos in the pending post, only once it’s been published and then only via the USP display page.

Any way to see the photos before publishing?

    Thank you.

With the free version of USP, images are not added to post content. You can display them automatically via the plugin setting, “Auto-Display Images”, so they will be displayed on the front-end in post content.

I am seeing them on the front end. Just not in the post that is being reviewed for publishing.

Is there no way to see what photos were submitted by the user before approving?

    Thank you.

Rather than ask a new question I’ll piggyback here – I see a USP button on my posts edit page that shows only USP posts.

Can that toggle to show posts that are NOT USP posts? So they don’t clutter the main post work area?

    Again, thank you.

    Glad to help:

    1) “Is there no way to see what photos were submitted by the user before approving?”

Yes all WP Posts provide a link/button to preview the post before publishing, so you can view the preview post and see all the images (based on your settings).

Also note that all uploaded images:

    • are added to the WP Media Library
    • the URL for each image is attached to the submitted post as custom fields

So you can view the images in the Media Library, and/or grab any image URL to take a look.

    2) “Can that toggle to show posts that are NOT USP posts? So they don’t clutter the main post work area?”

Not currently, but I like the idea and will try to add something for the next update. Thanks for the idea.

Didn’t even think of post preview, duh. Thank you!
