Hiya, wondering if this is something anyone else has run into after the update. We used to be able to let the users switch between list view (default) and month view in the upper right next to search bar. (Using Tribe Events styles & Default Events template). No other changes to settings were made other than updating the plug-in. Now the box is still there with the text “View as” but it’s empty underneath. (https://www.migrationproductions.com/events/)

When I inspect the element’s html, I can see the div and the options, but they’re just not showing up. (I’m talking about div #tribe-bar-views.) Anyone else know how to troubleshoot this? (3.5.1 hotfix didn’t help)

    Thanks!

    Howdy PessimisticOptimist,

That is not good :(. It looks like the recent update to our plugin, 3.5+, is no longer compatible with either your theme or one of your plugins. Possible solutions:

    * You could switch to the default Twenty Thirteen theme to see if that fixes. If not, also try disabling plugins one at a time. Once you have isolated what is conflicting, perhaps you can live with it disable (easy solution, sometimes work so worth a shot).
    * Once you have isolated the problem, if you can not live with simply disabling it you can dive into the problem. It looks like errors are in the JS console, those can be of help in narrowing things down.
    * Downgrade to version 3.4 of our plugin (instructions are on our website). Definitely make backups before doing this as WP advises. Or, you might simply restore your backup that you hopefully made before updating the plugin. Hopefully you have one, it is exactly situations like this why WordPress advises you to make them.

    Hi Brook,
Thanks very much for looking into this. No worries, I’ll just disable that toggle for now until I get a chance to troubleshoot down the road. The calendar itself is fine which is all that matters. Love the plug-in, and thankful to have it as a resource!
    Cheers!
