    This is the link

The screen shot link in error was linked to “Please assist” in above message

    Further to the above issue.
When we are logged into WP backend. We can see contents in ‘view cart’

But when not logged in, and wish to see contents in ‘view cart’ we are directed to another link (as pasted above).

It’s just a regular page. WC does not delete or hide these pages. So it’s either a different plugin, or it’s set to be private so guests cannot see it.

    (@chloeisme)

Thank you Mike for your advise.
Any thoughts on how it can be made public

We have not set any privacy for the cart page.
Please may you guide where these settings need to be changed?

    (@mikejolley)

As I said it’s a regular page, so it’s status is set in the ‘publish’ box like with any post.

    Thread Starter chloeisme

    (@chloeisme)

Oh yes the page is set to “publish”
As in this screenshot here link

We still cant understand where did we go wrong.
We have reinstalled woocommerce but the cart page is still broken (when add to cart –> then click on –> view cart, it does not take customer to view cart unless logged in).

    Please help

    (@chloeisme)

oh yes, the page is set to “publish”

As you can see in this link

We even reinstalled woocommerce and the cart page is still not allowing to “view cart”.

Only when we are logged in as admin, we can see “view cart contents”

Without login, when want to review “view cart”, the link directs to a page showing this link

    Where does /shop/ take you?

What is “Loginizer”. Have you ruled out plugin conflicts?

    Thread Starter chloeisme

    (@chloeisme)

    Hello Mike,

After clicking add to cart –> view cart –> directs to page within the site that link reads https://url/shop/cart/

On that page we see this sentence
    Cart
Shortly available with new and exciting choices for you.

Tried to deactivate “Loginizer” and “Redirect After Login” but the problem still occurs.

When we are logged into the WP backend, and follow add to cart –> view cart –> we can see contents in the cart.

    (@mikejolley)

“Shortly available with new and exciting choices for you” is not text from WooCommerce, so you MUST have a plugin active to block guest access.

    (@chloeisme)

    Mike,

Found out that “MEMBERS” https://themehybrid.com/ plugin was the culprit.
May you accept my apology for not trying all plugins and instead troubling you with queries.

Thank you for being supportive all through the process.
