    I’m very new to this so please bare with me. I searched Google and the previous forums on here but I still couldn’t find an answer to my question.

    I found this on a website,

    “The plugin is simple to add to your blog, simply add this code:

    <?php if(function_exists(’the_views’)) { the_views(); } ?>

    to the post loop in the single.php page of your template and you can see how many people view your posts without having to use complex statistics programs.”

    Now I have no idea what the ‘post loop’ is, so for this reason I’m not sure where I am supposed to paste this code.

    Alternatively, if anyone has a better idea as to how to get a view counter please advise me.

    Regards,

    Pat.
