I installed the plugin but for some reason it messed up the wrapping of the text/post headline H1 and made it extend all the way to the right and make the mobile view extremely wide so I uninstalled it.

The view counter still remains on mobile when I check my website on my phone. I deleted the cache on mobile browser, desktop browser, even repaired the database and it still shows for some reason. I tried it on my own device and someone else’s device as well. The view counter still shows and the page is still stretched to the right & it looks weird.

Am I missing something here? I need to fix this ASAP. Please help.

You can see the view counter on this screenshot. I deleted all independent analytics from PHPmyAdmin, turned off the cache, cleared every cache on every browser yet it remains. I also deleted the actual post because it pushed all the way to the right but it still shows. I’m lost here.

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

If the plugin has been deactivated, then I can guarantee it is no longer adding the view counter to the page. If you are using a CDN like Cloudflare, then make sure to clear the cache there after clearing the site’s cache with a plugin to ensure that the latest version of the pages are loaded.

Otherwise, I would check if there are any other plugins on the site that may be adding their own view counter to the page.

I couldn’t find the exact same post when I looked at the site, but I didn’t see the view counter on any pages I viewed.
