I am having an issue trying to view the mobile and tablet versions so I can edit them, in the view feature in the site editor.
    Using this View feature

Where the iframe, where I should see the mobile layout, is a blank grey space instead and the empty page sad face symbol. It says “This content is blocked. Contact the site owner to fix the issue”.
    This is in Chrome.
In Safari it’s just a white space. I have tried this on multiple computers, my iphone, and my hosting company have tried too.
So I would imagine not a browser issue either.

Not a plugin conflict or theme issue, still happens with everything off.
    WordPress 6.3.2

I am at a loss at what to do next.

  • The URL that you want to integrate via iframe apparently contains a property that prevents it from being integrated via iframe.

Is this a URL that does not belong to your own website? If so, you would have to contact its operator to find a solution.

Thank you for the reply @threadi

I have absolutely no idea what url would be trying to load in the iframe space. I’m just trying to see and edit the mobile view of my page in the site editor.

I have just tried mobile view on a blank page, same error.

I guess I need to workout how the mobile view works exactly, and what url it is trying to load content from.

Ah, I’ve just realised that this is the view from the block editor. It uses an iframe view for the mobile view. The URL that is loaded there belongs to your own hosting. It would therefore be a good idea to first check whether you have installed any security plugins in your WordPress. If so, deactivate it. If you can’t find anything, it’s best to contact your host’s support team as a security setting on their side could also be the cause.

Thank you @threadi you’ve set me off in a new direction.

It still does this when absolutely every plugin is deactivated and using default wordpress theme.
I have now found something I think when inspecting it using developer tools in Chrome.

Refused to frame ‘blob:(url on my site)’ because it violates the react-dom.min.js?ver=18.2.0 ? following Content Security Policy directive: “default-src ‘self’ wss: https: data:”. Note that ‘frame-src’ was not explicitly set, so ‘default-src’ is used as a fallback.

Also “not allowed to load local resource..”

This is all very much above my pay grade, I’m just a photographer! I will go back to my host and maybe passing this on will help them.

Thanks again @threadi your question sent me on the right path to diagnosing the issue, and my hosting company sorted it for me today.
    All fixed.
