View More button shows when no URL present

    I am showing art work using the Huge IT Portfolio Gallery, which is great for grouping paintings in a series. Since there is no URL to provide, I am not filling in that field for each project.

    The “Full Width Blocks” and the “Light Box Gallery” view do not place the “View More” button with the galleries.

    All other views put the “View More” button with the galleries. It seems the “View More” button should not display if there is no URL is provided. Clicking the “View More” button on these views simply reloads the same page – which is confusing to the web page visitor.

  • No dear “view more” button will always be shown no matter you added link or not. So in order to remove “view more” button you should go in General Options

    The General Options are not available with the free version of Huge IT Portfolio Gallery.

    The “view more” button does not display in the two views I mentioned: “Full Width Blocks” and “Light Box Gallery”. There is an inconsistency in the programming.

    It is not logical for the “view more” button to be displayed to the web site visitor if there is no underlying URL in the URL field. It is misleading because nothing will happen for the visitor when the “view more” button is clicked.

    Dear, not all users would like that, some of them asks to see that button because it will not look symmetrical if some projects will have and some won’t
    So the taste are different and requests as well. If you need to undisplay it, contact our developers [email protected]
    We make minor customization even for free users.
    Ask them to disable and you will get new file.

    I prefer proper functionality to symmetry. If something is not needed or has no function, it does not need to be there. I’ll find another plugin.

    Dear as I suggested, you can contact our developers, ask them , and they can modify so it will be removed when there is no URL

    Hi there, I sent an email to [email protected] to remove the ‘view more’ button on my website as I have no underlying URL in the URL field. Thanks Beatrice I hope this gets done soon as I’m just trying out this plugin for a client to check out it’s functionality before potentially purchasing.
