View post/item missing from admin bar

  • This has puzzled me for quite a while…

    The “view post” in the admin bar is gone since a while.
    I thought it was related to user capabilities so I reset all user roles.
    This didn’t bring it back…. It is available with posts/pages but not with custom post types…

    How do I get it back ???
