What version of the theme are you using?

The slider is no longer limited to the feature category – you can now use any category selectable in the theme’s Customizer.

The way it works is simple – create your posts as normal, add a featured image, assign them to any category of your choice and publish. Navigate to the theme’s Customizer, check the box to enable the slider, set it to slide or fade, set the number of slides and select the desired category to showcase in the slider save and you are done.

Let me know if you are still having issues with it and will advise further after taking a look at the site (if its live).

Yes, all it did so, but did not work.

Looks like you added the images in to the post via add media instead of using the add featured image section.

In your post edit screen at the right hand side towards the bottom you will see the section marked “Featured Image” with a link underneath it marked “Set Featured Image”.

Click the link and a pop up window will appear then either select the image from the media library or upload a new one and click Set featured image button at the bottom right of the pop up screen.

The above action will insert the image in the Featured Image section – save your post and it should appear in the slider.
