View user profile without logging in?

OK, I guess I was having one of those brain fart days because now coming back to this I see why non-logged in users could not access this (and probably why nobody responded to this post).

On the profile form page ‘Apply custom access settings’ was set to ‘Content accessible to Logged In Users’. Why was this not obvious to me from the beginning? Probably because I thought this page was for the profile editor only and not also used to display user profiles.

So this is one of those “Don’t over think it” lessons and thanks to the community for not posting any condescending remarks on this thread.
