View version details before updating a theme

I apologize if this has been requested before.

The other day I was updating themes and plugins for a client in the dashboard > updates section of the WordPress admin. I often use the “view version x.xx details” feature before updating plugins. I like this feature because it lets me know how cautiously I need to approach the update (if I need to update at all).

I would like to request this feature for themes as well.

Before updating a theme, it is important for me to know what has been changed. If a theme update breaks or changes the custom CSS I’ve added, it is important to know this beforehand.

Currently, the fastest way to this information is to manually download the theme and check the changelog (or check the changelog on Github).

In short, I request the ability to “View version x.xx details” before updating a theme in dashboard > updates.
