view_item and add_to_cart events

    We enabled dynamic remarketing yesterday, because I read on this forum that this will enable the add_to_cart event. According to Chrome’s Tag Assistant extension the event is being triggered, but I don’t see any data yet in Google Analytics. See screenshot.

    We’d also like to use the view_item event, not sure if you support that in the free version or only in the pro version? Or not at all?

    Hi Nick

    Currently the dynamic remarketing events for GA4 are only available in the pro version of the plugin.

    (They are available for Google Ads and Facebook in the free version, however).

    Upgraded! Wondering if after installing the pro plugin, the free one can be uninstalled or not?

    Great! You can uninstall it or keep it. It will work the same. But for keeping it clean I would recommend to uninstall the free version.

    Thanks for the fast reply. Sorry for asking again, but can I disable the free and enable the pro version at the same time without loosing the current configuration? Need to know for deployment purposes ??

    The configuration will not be deleted if you disable and delete the free version. (There is no function yet that would delete the configuration).

    The pro version will pick up the configuration from the free version.

    Just in case, you can also export and import the configuration on the support tab of the plugin.

    I uninstalled the free version, then installed the pro version locally and got these two notifications in the WordPress admin. When I login to https://sweetcode.com/freemius-account/#!/websites I see my license, but don’t see any websites listed. I installed it on a local test environment on a .ddev.site domain, not sure if this is the problem?
