• My blog, https://www.diseducation.com/newsletter is having problems viewed in Safari on a Mac. There seem to be some placement and layout issues with the header and the rest of the body, as it seems a big chunk of the body is underneath the header.

Everything looks GREAT on a PC running Ineternet Explorer, but for some reason Safari is giving me problems.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks.

  • It does look odd, I agree, but I’m no expert. I think this is something to do with the way IE handles poadding and margins. As I recall it is non-standard, but I cannot remember the details.

Sorry I cannot be more help.

I tried it in Firefox (on PC) and it’s not working here either. It looks as if there are some complications with the padding, but I’m really not sure.

This is what happens when you design for IE. You should always design for firefox and then hack for IE.

    Proper web page building

I have had people telling me that my server installed wordpress 2.0.3 has problems with safari as well. My entire side bar dissappears. My site: https://designsojourn.com works well in forefox and ie 6.0.

Does any one know why? Is it to do with widgets plugins or did i screw up some where modifying the template…

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.
